Hope for the Future

I always liked the character of Sid Hudgens in L.A. Confidential, with his trademark tag of “Off the record, on the QT, and very hush-hush.” We just completed the first draft of a political thriller that has a major producer, a director and a funding entity in place. Ha! Sounds like the claims on the air-resumes (that's like an air guitar, only with inflated credit claims) of any one of a thousand screenwriter wanna-be’s, don’t it? But this is real, folks. Long time a-borning (why do these negotiations drag on so long?) but hella cool, the Untitled Political Thriller peels back the façade of American law enforcement to reveal the scummy truth beneath. Sounds like Dirty, right? But this script is based on court transcripts of one of the killer trials of the era, and it is "going downtown to blow the roof off," as George Clinton used to say. Stay tuned for an official announcement soon. Off the record, on the QT, and very hush-hush.
